My first visit to Dr Chakraborti at Wycombe Hospital. What a lovely gentleman. I was accompanied by my daughter and seeing Dr Chakraborti about a metastasising of my prostate cancer. He immediately put as at ease, was very open, asked about family and about medical history. He clearly explained the treatment options, listened to my thoughts and questions and gave his honest opinion. He has a great sense of humour, similar to mine, which helped. I can highly recommend Dr Chakraborti.

Dr Chakraborti put me at my ease when I was very stirred up about having Cancer five years ago. He was very understanding and made it quite clear to me that I would be fine. He arranged superb care and has been very efficient in keeping me on the right path for check-ups ever since. He has a great sense of humour and it is a pleasure to see him.

What a marvellous chap! My brother and I accompanied our father to his first appointment with Dr Chakraborti recently. We were all very impressed with his initial welcome, his enthusiastic interest in not only Dad but us as a family too. He was able to explain the serious situation in a light hearted way which we all found very uplifting. Dad has been struggling with prostate cancer for many years, and although very realistic about his condition he had become depressed, and very despondent with hospital appointments. Dr Chakraborti gave Dad hope, a plan for the future and the belief that life is not over yet. We all agree with the previous reviews and we feel confident and totally reassured that no stone will be left unturned by Dr Chakraborti.

After being referred to Dr Chakraborti on my first appointment it was a refreshing experience as he put me totally at ease with regards to my condition, which I had been worrying about for some weeks prior to this appointment. I have since attended a second appointment with him after receiving two chemotherapy sessions and some other treatments and he has, once again, reassured me completely that things are moving very positively. He has a highly professional manner, a good sense of humour and an ability to make you feel at ease and confident in his prognosis and choice of ongoing treatment. If one has to go through this experience in life then I hope everyone has the opportunity to have as positive and supportive a doctor as I have been fortunate to have. It is also reassuring that he dictates his letter regarding the appointment whilst you are present allowing us to listen and be a part of his comments.

His gentle and calm manner together with his sense of humour and his ability to explain and answer any questions gives you a confidence that you are receiving the very best care and treatment and makes attending your appointment for a serious health issue something to look forward to rather than be afraid of. When you go in for your appointment he knows who you are, he remembers you from the previous time and he gives such an air of confidence and understanding that it just makes you feel good.
